Gabriel Pierazzini joined Kier four years ago as the lead façade in house specialist. He has over 40 years’ experience in the design and delivery of complex façade projects working in Europe, Middle East, China, and Australia. Since Gabriel arrived in the UK in 2001, he has been involved in a leading role in the design, procurement and delivery of the façades of many landmark projects in London and the UK. Gabriel has worked with construction companies, engineering consultancies, and property developers, such as Arup Façade Engineering, Lendlease, Permasteelisa, Mace and Canary Wharf Contractors, developing a well-rounded background across design, project management, construction management, and commercial/contract management. Gabriel also acts as a UK Construction Adjudicator and provides Expert Witnessing and Expert Determination services, specializing in a diverse range of façade types, including glass, metal, curtain walling, precast concrete, terracotta, stone rainscreen façades, and general fenestrations. Gabriel is a Fellow of the Society of Façade Engineers, and he is vice-chair of the Society’s Technical Committee.
