Regional Director - India, Inhabit Group
Gautam leads Inhabit’s business and presence in the Indian sub-continent as the regional director. With a background in architecture and multi-disciplinary engineering practise through his career, he has worked with leading developers and architects on projects across Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Middle East and India. Gautam’s clear understanding of the design and engineering process of high performance facades including their interfaces with the other critical interfacing disciplines have added value to the multiple design discussions and enabled an informed decision making process with multiple stakeholders. His specialist skills include complex geometry rationalisation with bespoke parametric tools and environmental performance of facades with special focus on occupant thermal comfort and daylighting in enclosed spaces. With a multi-disciplinary team spread over 19 offices across 4 continents, he has delivered multidisciplinary specialist advice which includes Façade Engineering, Façade Maintenance, Building Physics, Lighting and Applied Sight and sound to some of the most iconic projects across the world.
