Partner, Patriarche
Geneviève Guimont co-founded the architecture firm Parka – Architecture & Design in 2013, a practice rooted in integrated design that merged with the international firm Patriarche in 2019. With more than 16 years of experience, Geneviève plays a key role as manager, project lead, and designer.
She is frequently involved in projects aimed at enhancing historic buildings, collaborating with various city and town councils, including those of Quebec City and Montreal. Geneviève places particular importance on working with existing buildings, viewing these projects as opportunities to extend their functional lifespan, reduce carbon emissions, and contribute to the vitality of the urban fabric.
A LEED Accredited Professional, she is also committed to participating in projects grounded in sustainable development — an approach that honors and safeguards built heritage in a contemporary and environmentally-responsible manner.
