Director, Precon
Geoff is a Director of Precon Limited, a Project Management company focused on total project delivery based in Auckland New Zealand. He has a wealth of experience in vertical construction having led the preconstruction stages of some of New Zealand’s major projects including the Wiri Men’s Prison PPP, and the University of Auckland’s new Science Centre, and Engineering Building (currently under construction).
Currently tasked with delivering 19,000m2 of quality building for the University of Auckland at their Grafton Campus from site selection to project completion inside 3 years: Precon have provided dedicated project leadership in establishing key principles that have seen piling completed seven weeks early, structural steel erection that remains on programme, and facade panels being erected three weeks ahead of schedule. Geoff understands the dependency of a well-executed construction phase on the preceding design decisions and deliverables, and the importance of a clear procurement and consenting strategy.
