Giovanni Betti is a registered architect in Italy and the UK. He is currently a Senior Associate at the architectural practice HENN, with offices in Munich, Berlin and Beijing. There, he founded and leads the Performance Based Design Team.
The team act as an internal consultancy and R&D unit that explores innovative technologies and methods for architectural design. With a strong focus on the introduction of digital tools in everyday practice and multidisciplinary collaboration, the team activities span from parametric modelling to building performance simulation to façade conception and detailing.
Prior to HENN, Giovanni has been working for eight years at Foster+Partners in London where he was an Associate Partner in the Specialist Modelling Group.
He holds an MArch from the University La Sapienza in Roma and an MSc from RPI, NY
