Giovanni is the Regional Director UK and Senior Façade Engineer at Maffeis Engineering. He is responsible for the London office and UK market, overseeing UK projects and Business Development. He has several years of experience in the engineering design, management, costing and delivery of complex construction projects and advanced building envelope systems.
Giovanni is specialized in facades, structures, materials, and technologies, focused on complex geometry buildings involving challenging engineering and delivery solutions. His professional expertise was accrued in the engineering design of facades and their interface with the structural and environmental design for major projects.
He combines his deep understanding of façade engineering with his strong commitment for sustainability, leading in Maffeis Engineering the R&D for embodied carbon toolkits and WLC carbon assessments for sustainable building skins and structures.
He is a guest lecturer at the Polytechnic of Milan University.
