Gregory Romine has spent his 46 year career engaged in the façade industry ranging from product design, manufacturing, façade contracting and consulting. Greg founded Avante Façade Consulting (previously Axis Façade Consulting) in 1997 and the firm has grown to support projects in over 20 countries via its offices in North America, Europe, East Asia and South Asia. In 2002 the firm entered the Indian market and the India office has provided services on over 400 projects in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Greg is well known for his expertise in façade materials including research and development of new and adaptive technologies which are curated in the firm’s vast material library. Many of the firm’s projects around the world include innovative material applications and systems based on his initiatives. Greg’s support of façade education includes lectures at universities in North America, Europe and Asia and industry outreach to architects and building owners
