Guido Petinelli is a gifted business development executive with deep international experience bringing people, organizations and money together to help drive the global property industry toward green practices. He is Founder and CEO of Petinelli Inc., Brazil’s leading green building engineering firm. In 2019, he was recognized with USGBC’s Leadership Award for the world’s first LEED Zero Energy and LEED Zero Water certified buildings. In 2024, he received the International WELL Building Institute’s Rising Star Award. For his extraordinary contribution to the global green building movement, Guido became a LEED Fellow in 2018. He is a co-founder of GBC Brazil and was Director of Council Development for the WorldGBC. Guido holds a master’s degree in architecture from McGill University in Montreal, is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT) Entrepreneurship Development Program.
