Hamid joined Schuco in 2005 as solar division technical and product manager. From 2005 to 2013 he led the development of BIPV products mainly in Façade systems. He used his expertise to successfully certify innovative products at the CSTB (French building technical testing and approval institute) and also to achieve prestigious solar projects. Since 2014 he is leading the technical department of the Aluminium division. He is responsible in particular of Façade development and engineering, products approval and certification, technical support, testing and training. A major challenge in his job today is to adapt the building envelope products to the new constraining environmental low carbon and positive energy building regulations.
Hamid is member of several aluminium products technical committees of CSTB and the French aluminium association.
Hamid holds a PhD Fluid Mechanics and Energy Systems from the university of Paris XI and CNRS.
