Senior Façade Engineer, Buro Happold
Hans joined Buro Happold in 2022 as a Senior Façade Engineer. He studied Building Technology at TU Delft and has over 10 years of experience in Façade Consulting and commands about 17 years of experience in building envelopes. He has knowledge of Aluminium unitized curtain walls and stick systems and a strong interest in sustainability and circularity. Overall, his background as an architect, façade contractor and system provider enable him at translating client and architectural requirements into engineering design excellence.
Hans’ project experience spreads across a wide range of countries and sectors, with a particular focus on projects in the Middle East and Europe. Hans has a considerable wide range of experience in unitized systems, including two recently completed projects in the Netherlands: Plus Ultra in Leiden Science Park and the Bunkertoren in Eindhoven. Hans has been involved in many curtain wall projects and can translate architectural ideas into feasible solutions.
