Hariprasad is a C-Level Executive, with close to 3 decades of deep experience in Business, Supply Chain and Operations. He played a key role in scaling up functions as Wipro grew into a multi-billion dollar global business enterprise. He built ‘Wipro Water’, the water business of Wipro, grounds up.
Hari received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He champions many sustainability initiatives for Wipro and also represented Wipro on CII’s Karnataka State Council and the Southern Regional Council and led its ‘Water Task Force’.
He was a core member of Planning Commission’s industry working group on ‘Land & Water’ and ‘Green Manufacturing’ for the ‘12th Plan’ and now on its ‘implementation advisory committee’ for the Water Resources Division.
Hari represents Wipro on the Governing Council of ‘Electronic City Industrial Township Authority’ and on other consultative groups on Energy and Green Buildings.
