
Sustainable Development Director, Saint-Gobain Glass
Hélène Lohr has close to 15 years of experience in sustainable construction; she started her career as an architect mainly focusing on mid to large scale public facilities undergoing green certifications. In 2010, she joined Saint-Gobain to launch the CARE:4 in-house excellence initiative and has been in charge of the sustainable strategy for the Group’s Corporate Real Estate worldwide during 6 years, where she developed a genuine expertise in all topics related to wellbeing in the workplace and a capacity to foster cross-functional collaboration between different company spheres. In 2017 she joined the Flat Glass sector of Saint-Gobain as Sustainable Development Director and, as such, coordinates the Glass Forever sustainability strategy and action plans aiming at developing the sustainable assets of glazing. Since 2019, her missions have been extended to the global construction products portfolio worldwide.
Hélène strongly believes in continuous education: she first completed her master’s degree in Architecture in 2004; in recent years, she has obtained a higher education degree in Environmental Sciences and then in Sustainable Real Estate
