Hugh helped form EOC’s facade engineering group in 2012 and has had a leading role in the team since. Originally from a structural and civil engineering background, Hugh diversified his skills by studying environmental architecture and brings a holistic knowledge of buildings and their envelopes, preaching the ‘specialist generalist’ model for facade engineering. With a back-catalogue of well over one hundred projects at a variety of scales, he has a breadth of experience across different markets, design challenges, materials and systems and is adept at rationalising complexity on landmark projects and within the practice. Hugh is affiliated with various industry associations including the IStructE, SFE and CWCT.
