Hui Min Chan

Director, DP Architects

Hui Min Chan is a Director and board member at DP Architects. An architect by training, her design experience in a broad range of project typologies and urban planning often positions her in leadership roles for strategic development and design. In addition to running large-scale architectural and urban planning projects, she oversees the firm’s Design Intelligence department who shapes of the firm’s strategic direction for design technology research and BIM.

Her career spans multiple disciplines, including urban planning, architecture, interior design, and new media design, having worked both in New York City and Singapore. Since joining the firm in 2005, she has been instrumental in running numerous architectural and urban planning projects in the Singapore, Middle East, Turkey and the CIS.

Her most notable project credits include Emaar Square in Istanbul, and she is currently working on restoring the historic Haliç Shipyards on the Golden Horn. Her other key project credits include Seef Lusail, a major waterfront master plan in Qatar; the urban redevelopment master plan of Okmeydani in downtown Istanbul; In Singapore, she is working on Woods Square, a catalytic commercial development for Woodlands Regional Centre, the Orchard Road Business Study, and the redevelopment masterplan of Alexandra Hospital.
