Isaac Jamieson

Co-Founder, BioSustainable Designs

Dr Isaac Jamieson, is a UK scientist, architect, environmental consultant and co-founder of BioSustainable Designs. He also lectures at Thammasat University in Thailand on subjects that cover issues related to innovation, urban design, building design, product design, biophilic design, urban agriculture, resilience, and sustainability. Much of his work focuses on how to create more biologically-friendly environments that help increase health, wellbeing and productivity. He earned his PhD at Imperial College London investigating such factors, and later worked there during which time he also developed concepts for its ‘Lifelong Health Project’. He has additionally been an Expert Group Member at the European Commission, a Corresponding Member of the RIBA Regulations and Standards Group, and a Member of the Management Steering Committee of the CIBSE Intelligent Buildings Group. The majority of Isaac’s present research is involved in investigating how improved environmental design and best practice measures may help reduce COVID-19 risk.
