James Gitoho

Managing Director, Triad Architects

James Gitoho is a Director of TRIAD Architects since 1988. He is an architect by profession, having graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Nairobi University. He has been a fellow of the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK) and the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (BORAQS). James has been responsible for various commercial developments that include the 30 storey UAP Tower, 22 storey 4th Avenue Tower, CFC Headquaters building, Deloittes Hq office and Barclays Plaza amongst many others. His passion for order, integrity, and professionalism led to the certification of TRIAD. In 1991 James was awarded the prestigious commonwealth scholarship to promote commonwealth understanding within the commonwealth. He traveled to England, Tonga, West Samoa, and the South Pacific to promote commonwealth understanding. James is a respected member of the community and serves as a director at various company boards. He is the architectural advisor of the Church Commissioners for Kenya, has served as a member of the Local Appeals Committee of Kenya Revenue Authority.
