James Perry is a Director at Koichi Takada Architects, leading the Brisbane studio and supporting the successful design and delivery of projects across the practice’s international portfolio. With more than 25 years of experience, he has led award-winning mixed-use, cultural, civic and educational projects across Australia and internationally, delivering complex projects that balance performance, pubic experience and architectural clarity.
James has also made significant contribution to architectural discourse in Australia. He has led undergraduate and master’s design studios at UTS, where his teaching explored design innovation, architecture in the landscape and the creative process.
