Jason is a Chartered Engineer and Design Consultant with experience in leading teams and delivering specialist projects across a range of buildings and infrastructure related fields. His primary disciplines include sustainable building design and the urban microclimate, building physics and facade performance, indoor and outdoor human movement, comfort and perception, air quality, acoustics, and building aerodynamics, with a number of associated skills including meteorology, data analysis, etc. With broad exposure to a variety of specialist disciplines, Jason approaches the built environment holistically, seeing it as a complex system rather than breaking it down into individual components to be analysed.
Based in Melbourne, Jason is responsible for the quality, delivery and growth of Inhabit’s Building Physics & ESD practice in Australasia. His current research interest (with Deakin University) is in human relationship to nature and perception of environment and place.
