Creative Director, Tengbom
Jesús is a Swedish/Spanish architect and creative director at Tengbom Architects, one of Sweden’s oldest largest architectural practices. Over the years, Tengbom Architects has garnered numerous awards and recognitions for its innovative and high-quality designs. The firm continues to be influential in shaping the architectural landscape not only in Sweden but also internationally.
Jesús has been teaching as well at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and internationally since 2006. In 2012, he was named the Teacher of the Year at KTH for his pedagogical achievements. His work, pedagogy, and leadership focus on sustainability, innovation, culture heritage with high-quality design. He is skilled at successfully leading transformation efforts aimed at increasing quality in design and work processes. He has a broad network nationally and internationally within architecture and culture and believes not in right or wrong, but in good or bad. Additionally, he is a board member with extensive experience from both one of the wholly-owned state companies and architectural member organizations.
