John has worked in the Construction Industry for over 22 years in which he has been involved in numerous Projects of varying size, type and complexity, from inception to handover and aftercare.
John has been with Mace for over 16 years so his understanding of their processes and procedures makes him a valuable asset when setting up Projects. His knowledge of the construction process has helped him contribute immensely to the pre-construction process and improve ‘buildability’ of Projects.
Most recently John was the Project Director for a $70m Grade A+ office building called Deutsches Haus in the central business district of HCMC from 2014 to 2018. Before that at the end of 2013 John completed the $115m Nokia Factory in Bac Ninh where he headed up the team as Project Director.
John is now the country Director for Mace in Vietnam, a role he took on in May 2016.
His skills include Team Leadership, MEP Management, Commercial Management, setting out and implementation of procurement procedures, client and contractor relationships, building, establishing and implementing communication strategies and a very well rounded knowledge of all aspects of the construction process.
