John Eyers

CEO, Jaspers-Eyers Architects

John Eyers (°1961) studied Architecture at Sint-Lukas School of Arts in Brussels. Soon after his graduation in 1984, he started working for the architectural firm Jaspers & Partners. At the age of 31 he founded his own practice, which merged with Jaspers in 2001. Today, Jaspers-Eyers Architects is one of the largest and most thriving architectural practices in Belgium, with offices in Brussels, Leuven and Hasselt. The company is directed by John Eyers and his business partner Jean-Michel Jaspers.

One of the main focal points for John Eyers as an architect is the integration of cultural and social changes in the company’s projects. He sees architecture as a never-ending journey, an ongoing evolution in which one has to keep learning. To put the theory into practice, he travels the world to be inspired by other cultures and societies.

Next to his greatest passion, architecture, John Eyers devotes his free time to several groups and societies promoting arts, culture and enterprise.
