John Ivanoff joined Buro Happold’s Facades and Specialty Structures team in 2013 and has nearly 15 years of experience in the industry. John’s portfolio reflects his architectural design background and includes extensive experience working on residential and educational projects around the world.
While he was a researcher and project architect at Stevens Institute of Technology, he was a finalist in the 2013 U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathalon. John’s software competencies include Revit, Autocad, Rhino, Grasshopper, Sketch -up, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, IES, LBNL’s Therm / Window, and Python.
His portfolio at Buro Happold includes projects in the education, cultural, commercial, and residential sector including Brown University’s Engineering Research Center, a recently completed complex that was achieved through and integrated project delivery approach, requiring close coordination between client and design team throughout the entirety of the project.
