John is a renowned engineer for his expertise in structural glass and façade engineering. His European training and drive to solve challenging problems helps developers and designers realize their extraordinary glass and façade projects. John’s work includes features like the largest continuous skylight in North America at Calgary’s CORE, glass staircases like at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, and the recently completed pedestrian bridge at the Toronto Eaton Centre. He is also the Principal in Charge of many iconic façade projects such as the One at Bloor and Yonge with Foster + Partners, King Street West with Gehry Partnership, and The Atlas Project in San Francisco.

John has presented to the architectural, engineering, and construction community across Canada, the US, and Europe. His façade team works throughout North America consulting with designers and fabricators helping to show the potential for structural glass and façade engineering and protecting the design from concept to construction.
