Jorge Vieira Gonçalves, Civil Engineer graduated from the University of Minho with experience in the management, coordination, and direction of large-scale civil construction projects in Portugal and Angola.
Throughout his career, he has served as the deputy site manager, the site manager, the consortium manager, and most recently, the project manager, having been responsible for the execution of residential, commercial, hotel, educational, hospital, and heritage rehabilitation projects. He began his professional activity at Britalar, participating in the landmark projects such as the expansion of Braga Parque, the remodelling of the Tivoli Lisboa Hotel, the Oeiras Golf & Residence development, the Casa dos Bicos for the José Saramago Foundation, and the Atlântico Estoril Hotel.
Subsequently, he joined Casais Angola, where he held management positions for the Zenith Towers, ZAP Studios, and Village Business Park projects, in consortium. After returning to Portugal, he participated in significant projects for Casais EC, namely the Pediatric Wing of the São João Hospital, the Liga Portugal Arena, and currently the Braga University Residence – Fabrica da Confiança. In 2026, he overtook the role of Project Director.
