Joe Tattoni, founding and design principal of ikon.5 architects, is a natonally recognized leader in the design of civic, cultural, and institutional buildings. His innovative ideas have led to the crea;on of numerous award-winning buildings and elevated ikon.5 to among the top architectural design firms in the country. Joe believes that every project is an opportunity to explore the power of architecture to create spaces that inspire pride and strengthen communities. Joe has designed a wide range of projects, including buildings for colleges and universities, libraries, museums, visitor centers, houses of worship, and recreational facilities. Through his efforts, ikon.5 has received over 100 international and national architectural design awards, as well as multiple nominations for Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Museum National Design Awards. Joe is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects. He received his Master of Architecture from the University of Virginia and Bachelor of Architecture from Catholic University.
