Jovi leads the Inhabit team in Hong Kong and Macau with responsibility for the performance management and leadership of both offices. He started his career as a structural engineer working for a local Hong Kong structural engineering consultant. Jovi specialised and focused on reinforced concrete structures, steel structures, A&A works and foundation design works.
He then diversified into façade engineering and has since been involved in the design and structural engineering of curtain wall systems, cladding systems, skylights and canopies, precast façade systems and reinforced concrete structures.
Jovi has significant site experience, where his key project was acting as resident façade engineer during the renovation and retrofit of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Central, Hong Kong. His role was to oversee the modifications to the existing base structure as well as monitoring the installation of a retrofitted curtain wall system. He was on-site for a period of 12 months in this capacity.
