Kabi Subramaniam who leads the Asset Services team at Arup (Singapore) started his career as a structural design engineer, where he worked on several projects in Australia, prior to joining the façade team in Singapore. After years of inspecting existing building facades and advising clients on potential risks on a portfolio of buildings, Kabi now sets his direction on existing assets with an interest in remote monitoring and assessment of the assets using digital tools and technology. The use of drones to inspect existing assets is an example of how he uses the latest available technology to monitor assets.
