General Manager, Kuraray
Kamal Niazy is an accomplished international business leader with more than 25 years across the architectural materials and specialty chemicals industries, spanning business development, sales and marketing, product management, and strategic market leadership. Throughout his career with Kuraray and DuPont, he has held regional and global leadership positions covering the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
He currently serves as Global Downstream Marketing Leader of Kuraray Advanced Interlayer Solutions and General Manager of Kuraray Products Middle East Trading LLC in Dubai.
With a background in Mechanical Engineering from The American University in Cairo and a master’s degree in international business administration from ESCLSCA Paris, Kamal combines technical understanding with a strong commercial and strategic perspective. He recently led the qualification and global market introduction of a major new production (SentryGlas® Production) line investment in Europe.
His work centers on the architectural glass and façade community including architects, engineers, façade consultants, developers, and fabricators on projects where performance, safety, resilience, and sustainability all have to hold together at once.
