“Kassem Taher Saleh is a German Member of Parliament. He joined the Bundestag in September 2021 and is part of the Alliance 90/The Greens parliamentary group. He is member of the Committee on Housing, Urban Development, Building and Local Government as well as substitute member of the Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid and the Committee on Climate Action and Energy. He was born in Zakho/Iraq and grew up in Saxony/Germany. After graduating as a civil engineer from the Technical University of Dresden, he worked as a construction manager.”
