Kerryn Coker

Principal - Architectural Engineering Team Leader, Arup

Kerryn is a Principal at Arup, and leads the Architectural Engineering team offering services in façade engineering, sustainability, building physics, wind engineering, building façade upgrade and diagnostics.  The team of 45 people are a diverse group of passionate, highly skilled and experienced people from a variety of technical backgrounds including engineers, architects and ex-industry designers.  As a façade engineer Kerryn is passionate about elegant design that is innovative and sustainable while efficient and robust. Kerryn joined Arup in London in 2004 where she developed the façade design on a range of projects including the commercial developments Kings Place and 10 Chiswell St in London.  In 2007 Kerryn returned to Sydney where she led the façade consultancy service on a broad range of projects, including the curtain wall and structural glass box at 8 Chifley Square, the innovative double skin façade on 1 Bligh Street, and the operable timber facades on NewActon Nishi, ACT.  More recently Kerryn has led the façade design on projects including Wynyard Place and Quay Quarter in Sydney.

Kerryn enjoys having the opportunity to be both a team leader running a successful business leading, mentoring and support her team whilst still playing an integral role in the design development and delivery of elegant efficient building envelopes.
