Kevin Kim is a Professional Engineer with over 12 years of industry experience, including eight years at SOCOTEC, specializing in the investigation, restoration, and preservation of existing buildings. As part of SOCOTEC’s Existing Buildings department, he leads projects involving leak investigations, façade inspections, window replacement monitoring, and FISP/Local Law 11 compliance.
Kevin’s expertise spans a wide range of exterior wall systems—masonry, concrete, and curtain walls—and he is highly skilled in façade restoration, structural repair detailing, and navigating building code requirements. His project portfolio includes high-profile commercial, residential, hospitality, and institutional properties across New York City, such as the Waldorf Astoria, 28 Liberty Street, Crown Building, NYU Langone Health Medical Sciences Building, and Brooklyn Navy Yard.
