Kristin Gausdal

Partner, BAU

Kristin Gausdal is an architect and co-owner of BAU – Byrån för Arkitektur & Urbanism. She is a driven and highly collaborative partner across the office’s broad range of work which includes urban development, public buildings, offices, retail, housing, hotels and even renovation and industrial buildings. She often works with competitions and the early stages of office, retail and urban development projects. Kristin recently completed competitive design proposals include Norrköping Central Station and Luna Kvarteret in Södertälje and one of her current assignments is the implementation of the Haga Norra Kvarter 1 in Solna. She often drives the concept development stages of projects, acting as client support during development of the brief and liaison with the projects end users.

BAU was founded in 1991 and has developed architectural projects that originate from a diversity of perspectives. The office’s ongoing and completed assignments include; Kv Snäckan at Tegelbacken, building conversion Tomteboda in Solna, Hangar 5 in Bromma, Fisksätra Multihall, Sthlm 01 in collaboration with Sauerbruch Hutton, Housing in Kv Kvinten, Guldläge in Skellefteå, the urban development in Arenastaden and the two central blocks at Torsplan.
