Senior Associate, Thornton Tomasetti
Leandro Heine is a Façade Engineer with a background in sustainable architecture and design. He joined Thornton Tomasetti in 2015 where he is currently Senior Associate in the London team. Leandro has more than 15 years of experience in the design and documentation of façade and roof systems, site supervision as well as benchmark testing on a range of complex projects around the world. He has a keen interest in the cladding materiality and performance, with a focus on sustainability. He has a thorough understanding of processes associated with the design, procurement, fabrication and installation of cladding systems and façade assemblies including unitised and site assembled glazing, GRC, precast concrete as well as conventional metal, wood, stone and glass rainscreen systems. He recently joined the CWCT Sustainability committee.
