Liliana Bernardis is an award-winning architect and designer whose work has been featured in a wide range of architectural journals and publications around the globe. She maintains a delicate balance between global sophistication and local response. There is an extraordinary freshness and optimism in Liliana’s design work. The range of expression in her work is impressive, including powerful and iconic structures intended as a strong statement, such as Guadalajara Airport T2.
Liliana’s work has simultaneously enhanced, defined, and blurred the lines between a range of building typologies, include hospitality, airports and residential mixed used projects. She believes in the potential of projects to become catalytic, not only for the communities in which they reside, but as models for sustainable architecture.
As a building designer, she leads large, multi-disciplinary teams of architects who create complex, demanding buildings. As Director of Guadalajara office of MVE + Partners, she elevates design culture in the profession at large.
