
Associate, Handel Architects
Louis Koehl is an Associate at Handel Architects functioning as Project Architect. Recent work includes leading the Construction Administration for Handel Architects’ Filene’s Building renovation and restoration in Boston, as well as detailing the exterior wall for University of Toronto Scarborough Passive House Student Residences. He also served as Project Designer for The Viola, a new 400,000 sq. ft. mixed-use project in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. Designed for Peebles Corp., the project includes residential, retail, hotel, and a MBTA entrance.
Louis is currently administering construction on Sendero Verde, a mixed-use development in East Harlem designed to the Passive House Standard. The project includes 709 designated affordable residences, as well as a school, medical offices, community facilities, and an expansive public outdoor space.
