Born in Brazil, he graduated in Engineering and soon engaged in energy studies in the field of glass and shading systems. He is the founder of glassAdvisor, a company based in Bolzano, Northern Italy, focusing on the development of software and tools for energy efficiency in buildings. For over 10 years, he has collaborated with Pellini SpA as a coordinator of mechanical and electronic R&D and Quality activities. He has filed several international patents in the field of glass for construction, high-performance shading systems and energy analysis calculations relating to windows, facades and the building envelope. He is a lecturer at several academic and research bodies including Politecnico Milano, Politecnico Torino, the University of Bolzano and the FACE Master in façade design. He is a panelist in work groups dedicated to drafting international directives and standards.
