Green Building Department Director, Sweco Polska
Marcin Gawroński, PhD is the Director of the Green Building Department at Sweco Polska, Board Member of the Polish Green Building Council as well as the Chairman of the Board of the Future Cities Foundation. He is an industry expert holding over twelve years of practical experience in the commercial real estate.
Marcin developed a small team of a few consultants into an award-winning Green Building Department with over 30 specialists. Sweco Green Building Department has become a leader both in Poland and the CEE region in building environmental assessment methods and engineering services for sustainable construction.
Sweco championed the BREEAM certification of the first buildings in Poland, both for new and existing developments, and assessed over 350 projects to date.
Marcin Gawroński authored several publications from the field of sustainable construction. He leads the Future Cities Foundation, that supports the development of modern cities and organizes the Future Cities conference.
