Maria is passionate about the crossroads of architecture and sustainability. Currently finalizing her PhD from the University of Lisbon, Maria is more than an up-and-coming academic: she’s a change-maker. As the Head of Sustainability at A400, she’s committed to promoting practices that will shape our future. Maria has further expanded her expertise with an online course from Harvard on the effects of climate change on health, and holds prestigious certifications in the field of sustainability, including WELL AP; LEED AP; LFA; BREEAM Associate; WELL Faculty; LEED GREEN RATER; TRUE ADVISOR. With a human-centric approach to her work, Maria stands as a testament to dedication in sustainable building and well-being.
