Claudia joined JLL Sustainability team in 2024 assuming the leading role in strategic sustainability services including ESG Due Diligences and EU taxonomy, ESG and Net-Zero carbon strategies, sustainability certifications as LEED, BREEAM and WELL and real estate assessments as GRESB.
With over +15 years in energy policy and sustainable urban development, she worked as energy policy expert at ADENE, the Portuguese energy agency, where she shaped European building directives and Portugal’s building renovation strategy. For 6 years, Claudia was deeply involved in the EPBD discussions under the concerted action for EPBD IV and V, where she co-coordinated the Core Team on building’s certification.
Her portfolio also includes 17 EU-funded research projects and a five-year collaboration with MIT (USA) and IST (PT), focusing on innovative urban energy modelling and cutting-edge research in creating smarter and more sustainable cities.
