Martin Drexler

Head of Design, Research and Development at Schindler Fenster + Fassaden

Martin Drexler is authorised signatory and head of design, research and development at Schindler Fenster + Fassaden GmbH and has now been active in façade construction for more than 20 years. Martin graduated from Technische Hochschule Rosenheim with a diploma in Wood Engineering in 2008. In his diploma thesis he dealt with the topic “structural wood glass bonding” according to ETAG 002. He is a member of the Technical Committee of the VFF (Verband Fenster und Fassade – Window and Façade Association) and serves on various technical committees there. At Schindler Fenster + Fassaden GmbH he not only oversees façade projects but also deals with the further development of sustainable window and façade systems – especially timber and composite systems – including their façade testing as well as the efficient, digital transfer from the 3-D-model to the processing machines.
