Director General / General Manager, Bear Facade Engineering
MSc Arq. Martín Gil von der Walde, a graduate of the Technical School of Architecture of Madrid (ETSAM), is an expert in facade design and management with a solid international career.
His professional experience has been developed in prestigious firms such as Araujo Arquitectos in Madrid, where he collaborated on various architectural projects, the DCTA of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and Grupo BÁSICA in Mexico, where he served as Director of the Technical Department for 8 years. At Grupo BÁSICA, he led the design and installation of more than 150,000 m2 of facades in large-scale projects in Mexico, Colombia, and the United States.
Currently, Martín leads Bear Façade, a consulting firm specializing in facades that offers innovative and efficient solutions. His experience at Bear Façade, with projects in Mexico, the United States, Spain, and the Caribbean, is complemented by his teaching at the Master’s in Real Estate and Construction Business Management at UPM+ITAM, thus combining professional practice with the training of the next generation of facade specialists.
