Martin Roy

Winner of the Grand Prix d’excellence of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec in 2007, Martin Roy P.Eng, worked on numerous Net Zero and Leed projects. In November 2013, Martin Roy received LEED Fellow designation. In 2015 he was awarded the CaGBC Sustainable Champion. In 2010 he received the Hydro-Québec’s ENERGY WISE Award of Excellence as well as the Award from l’AQME in 2006.

Martin is a member of numerous Canadian and American professional societies. He was the first Québec’s engineer to obtain the professional accreditation LEED. He is also a member of the Canada Green Building Council and sits as an advisor on the Technical Advisory Group (TAG). Hi is a member of the standing committee on the Canadian National Energy Codes for Buildings, and a trainer at the Center for Sustainable Development at Laval University and at University of Québec in Chicoutimi. He also speaks at numerous conferences across the country.
