Mathias Almstedt has been working as façade consultant 16 years. He is the CEO of ACC Glass and Façade consultants, Norhern Europe’s leading façade consultants, offering independent advice on glass, facades, windows, glass roofs, daylight and shading.
Mathias is 46 years old and lives in Stockholm, he has a Masters degree from studying in Oslo 1999-2003. Some examples of projects where Mathias has been façade consultant are the NKS Hospital, the Royal School of music, Campus Albano, Forskaren and Sara Kulturhus in Skellefteå.
As an independent façade consultant in the early stages of the projects, you can affect the envelope sustainability the most. Helping and guiding developers, architects, and other consultants to make well informed and right and decisions regarding the design and geometries. Optimizing facades for a the right aesthetics, well-functioning indoor climate and daylighting, balancing cost level with the right solutions, materials and requirements is what motivates him.
