Matthew Fineout

Matthew Fineout is an Architect and Founder of Smart Architecture; an architecture and consultancy firm with a focus in highly complex building forms. He has consulted on several prominent international projects including Atlassian Anchor Tower in Sydney, the Mexico City New International Airport, Entisar Super Tall Tower, Dubai and Soumaya Museum in Mexico City. His involvement and interest with complex architectural projects began as a Senior Associate at Frank Gehry and Associates in the 90’s. There he was involved with several seminal projects including the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao Spain. This work ushered the transition into digital applications as a central focus for project development and construction implementation, in which he played an instrumental role. He has continued this pursuit to leverage digital technologies to execute projects of extraordinary merit. Matthew has written extensively on this subject and has delivered papers around the world.
