Associate Principal, Thornton Tomasetti
Melissa Wong is an Associate Principal in Thornton Tomasetti’s Façade Engineering practice. Based in New York, she has been leading the design and construction of façade and enclosure systems from residential & commercial developments, to prominent institutions throughout the east coast, including Harvard University, Columbia University and the Empire State Building. With a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Pratt Institute, Melissa’s background bridge the gap between engineering and design. Her expertise has brought her to work on iconic international landmarks across the globe such as the Shanghai Tower, the third tallest building in the world, and the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, an integral sports complex as part of Al Ain’s new, wider community development.
