Michael Bischoff is a leading voice in the promotion of sustainable vertical urbanism as a creative response to population growth, densification, and climate change. With broad leadership experience onlarge-scale projects in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, he directs PCF&P’s ongoing efforts in India, including the World Towers residential complex in central Mumbai, featuring India’s tallest residential building; One Lodha Place, the city’s first Class A office tower; and two major office campuses under development on the outskirts of Bengaluru, also home to the firm’s recently completed GoldmanSachs India headquarters, a 21-acre, LEED Platinum office campus. Michael has gained wide recognition for his speculative studies, which include the 8×8 Tower, a comprehensive sustainable ecosystem supporting a vibrant vertical neighborhood, and the Sunnyside Yard Master Plan, a network of interconnected, mixed-use superstructures built over an existing rail yard to form an economically viable, sustainable, and culturally diverse new community.
