President, Picco Group
Mike is President of Picco Group, parent company to Picco Structures, an innovative GTA structural engineering practice providing building engineering and design services; and Picco Engineering, North American leaders in stone façade design & consultancy services for over 30 years.
Mike is an advocate for the use of natural stone in construction and is a much sought-after speaker and subject-matter expert on stone, masonry, and cladding systems. Mike earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree from McMaster University. In 2017 he was honoured with McMaster University Top 150 Alumni recognition. Mike served as the President of the Natural Stone Institute (NSI) and was awarded Person of the Year in 2021.
