Michele Sauchelli is an architect and engineer with more than 14 years of experience in the industry and is specialised in designing, managing and delivering complex façade projects. His expertise spans across façade technologies, environmental performances and applied research for the development of innovative façade systems and products. He has worked in Italy, Australia and the UK in engineering and architectural consultancy firms as well as general contractors, where he was responsible to design façade solutions for small high-end buildings to large multi-million infrastructure developments. He also contributed to the development of new business strategies in the area of contractor early engagement and off-site construction (DfMA-Design for Manufacture and Assembly). Michele holds a PhD in adaptive facades, he has been lecturing in the topics of façade engineering, technology and sustainable building design internationally and has authored several scientific articles.
