Miguel de León is a registered architect in Spain (COAM) and the UK (ARB) and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He holds a Master of Architecture from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master in Real Estate Development from Instituto de Empresa. After several years serving as a project architect at Pelli Clarke Pelli and Kohn Pedersen Fox ́ New York and London offices designing landmark projects worldwide, he joined Ortiz Leon as Design Director. At Ortiz Leon, he drives design direction for the development and execution of a wide variety of projects in Spain and APAC, ranging from large-scale, complex corporate buildings to detailed design research. His core strengths lie in the translation of the brief into a design aligned with Ortiz Leon ́s intrinsic values. Miguel’s technical background influences his fascination for sustainable and innovative design research, which he applies to support the office’s expansion.
