Mostafa Jafar Sabbagh

Dr. Mostafa J. Sabbagh is a distinguished academic, an experienced architect, a LEED AP, a sustainability champion, and a heritage enthusiast. Serving as an Ass. Professor of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, King AbdulAziz University, he holds a Master’s from McGill University and a PhD from the University of Calgary. Academically, Dr. Sabbagh excels in teaching and supervising post-graduate research, with a focus on building envelope performance, indoor environment quality, green building systems, and conservation. Professionally, his diverse journey encompasses executing and managing numerous projects in architecture, building and urban sustainability, and the conservation and restoration of UNESCO world heritage sites, underscoring his leadership in bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application in architecture and sustainability.
